With session number one (aka: Forum Week) kicking off at Camp of Champions, members of the Forum team were more than enthusiastic about taking a trip to Whistler and getting some snow under their feet. Aside from the usual dose of jibbing, jumping, bonking, spinning, sliding, and slashing, plenty of time was spent hanging out with campers and kicking it during various off-hill camp activities.

Everyone seems to like lists, especially when they’re quick and easy to read. With that noted, here’s the 10 “Last Things” with Jake Blauvelt.

Now that the word’s out that Forum or Against’em is being produced in a Southern California reality-show-type community, the neighbors wanted to properly welcome Jeremy and Mike to the pungent commune with a pool party extravaganza.

On Canada…

“I’ve been questioned so many times coming through the border that I can be the spokesperson for Canada.”

The curtains have gone down, and filming for Forum or Against’em has come to a close. It’s now time to set the sights on the finished product. With that noted, veteran Forum Editor, Jeremy Pettit, along with Motion Graphics Wizard, Mike Bishop, have set-up base camp in an undisclosed Southern California location (actually, its in a kinda/sorta dorm room swingers-club called Coronado - so if you see them around the cesspool, tell them get back to work).

Pete states:

Eddie Wall’s Mom and Dad came all the way out from their lovely home in Pennsylvania to check up on their little boy whom just finished a bit of shoulder surgery. And, after taking full advantage of all those wonderful things Mom and Dad provide in times of need, he reciprocated by escorting them on various sightseeing adventures, including a trip to the Forum office. Here they are.

Forum team rider John Jackson was in the neighborhood, and decided to stop by the Forum Headquarters to say hello, see some new goodies, and shoot a few photos. Remember, if you’re going to be at Camp of Champions from June 21-28, you might also have the pleasure of saying hello to John, showing him your goodies, or even take a few photos with him.

On the beach…

“You know, fuck going to the beach. I don’t need to be in the water with all the sharks that are out. I look just like a seal swimming around in the ocean.”

Forum Week will be hosted at Camp of Champions from June 21-28 in Whistler, BC. If you’re going to be there, squeeze in a lap with Jake Blauvelt, John Jackson, Nic Sauve, Daniel Ek, and/or Stevie Bell, as they’ll be there enjoying all the summer festivities.

Ahhhh summertime… And what better place for a pro snowboarder to spend the off-season than the sunny beaches of Southern California. Forum team riders Eddie Wall and Joni Malmi have been soaking in tons of rays lately, but left the sandy beaches and salt water behind for a night to celebrate the birthday of their favorite (Forum) Team Manager. Here’re a few shots from the evening’s festivities.

The frigid months of old man winter are long gone and it’s time for most snowboarders to clean-up, and shed their cranial insulation. Check out the transformation of Foregional rider, Martin Campbell, as he prepared to depart Idaho for a summer in South America (where there’s snow, but warmer, nevertheless).
