THERE GOES THE NEIGHBORHOOD - PART 3
07.21.2008
“The Editing Suite” - a term that has come to define the process of editors and producers alike, confined into an equipped area - all in the name of producing a video project. And throughout the movie-making process, this “Suite” is often as the name implies (sweet) while at other times, the ups and down of sitting on your ass make this sweet a bitter sour.
However you slice it, Forum or Against’em is in full production and the editing suite can only be described as being chained to a computer, avoiding all distractions, and working non-stop. Sweet or sour, you make the call, and in the process say hello to the new FOA intern, Andi (bottom left photo) as well as the fixed gear bike and potential distraction (also in the bottom left photo).

JAKE BLAUVELT RAISING THE ROOF
07.14.2008
When Jake Blauvelt heard that the real-estate market is a buyer’s market, he took to the streets and started shopping around. Opting for Mt. Baker as his new stomping grounds, check out this collage of Jake’s new residence in Bellingham, Washington. Looks like a solid investment, homeboy.

FORUM OR AGAINST’EM POST PRODUCTION SHOOT
07.10.2008
Forum or Against’em was predominantly filmed in various snow-covered regions (like, duh), but a tiny bit of studio time is always mandatory, especially to add a little spice into the mix. And, what better place to find one of these studios than in the movie making capital known as Hollywood, California.
So yeah, the team came out for a few days to get some post-production work taken care of, and to “fan out” on all the various celebrities they didn’t end up seeing. Have a gander at the photos taken on-set by Forum Staff Paparazzi.

FIVE QUESTIONS WITH DANIEL EK
07.01.2008

What was your favorite session this Winter?
It would have to be “the spine” that (Kurt) Heine built in Mt. Hood.
What was the worst part of the season for you?
Rupturing my spleen, while skateboarding, at the US Open.
Whose part are you most looking forward to seeing in “Forum or Against’em?”
Jake Blauvelt’s part.
Any serious plans for the summer?
I just want to chill and skate as much as possible.
Plans for next year?
Let me get through the summer.
