BOB ROSS x FORUM
11.30.2009
With collaborations in snowboarding becoming a little out of hand over the last few years, Forum Snowboards has come up with a true artist collab. Featuring original selections from the private Bob Ross collection, Forum has created a series of boards, boots, bindings and apparel that live up to the legend of the original Do-It-Yourself art master. Check out the Happy Little Video here:

Generally known for his street riding and rail prowess, Jake Welch has been somewhat of a “sleeper” in the park world. At Snowboarder Magazine’s Superpark, held in Mammoth last spring, the little giant woke up on the right side of the bed and took on this “Mammoth Monolith”, landing what some (by some we mean Snowboarder Magazine) have claimed a “record frontside air”. This is Jake’s first cover, and now that we’re supplying him with a nonstop flow of Starbucks, it’s safe to say that it won’t be his last.

FORUM FRIDAYS - RAW FOOTAGE
11.27.2009
Forum Fridays comes to you as an extension of Forum’s most recent team-inspired snowboarding release, FOREVER. While the footage is admirable, it was dropped on the cutting room floor, but swept back up for your visual indulgence.
No smoke and mirrors here. The following clips are raw footage from FOREVER, at regular speed with no fancy editing. Enjoy the simplicity.
FOREVER is Forum’s sixth team-video release, and is now available on DVD and in the iTunes Store.

Last season, Eddie Wall, Pat Moore and Trevor Jacob filmed their respective parts for Mammoth Mountain’s feature film, HOT LAPS . To kick off opening weekend, Mammoth hosted a premiere in the village, and had a live performance with Shiny Toy Guns at Canyon Lodge afterwards. The boys were in town to ride, spectate, and do the usual pre-season partying, as seen in the photos below.
HOT LAPS will be available in the Superpark issue of Snowboarder Magazine, available on newsstands December 4th. Be sure to pick up a copy of your own

CAMERON PIERCE ON-DECK ON SNOWBOARDERMAG.COM
11.06.2009
Unlike Orville and Wilbur Wright, who a century ago turned to ingenuity and physics to achieve airtime, fellow North Carolinian Cameron Pierce chose snowboarding. In the latest Forum release Forever, Cameron breaks out with a grip of shots that make anything that went down at Kitty Hawk a hundred years ago look pussy. (How’s that for some in-your-face hyperbole?) Now, back to our regularly scheduled On Deck interview…

Aside from being a great snowboarder, John Jackson is also an excellent fisherman. Seriously, he doesn’t just land big tricks, but some damn big fish too. As documented in the photos below, these Steelhead landings at Trinity are just a precursor to what’s going to be going down this season.
