Mr. Sauve got himself an interview in Canada’s King Snow Magazine, and it looks like you can get the whole thing digitally. Now would be a great time to follow that link and see what he’s got to say about girls falling out of buildings, and people having sex with animals?

Part of the Forum Team is posted up somewhere overseas (depending on where you’re reading this from), getting their fair share of urban shooting for the year. Nic Sauve and Stevie Bell have taken some of the Youngbloods out for another go at it, and thus far you’d think they were a clumsy crew of carpenters with all the hammers that are getting dropped. Here are some pre/post photos of the trickery to wet your whistle before next year’s curtain goes up.

Nic Sauve is a man of many talents. When he’s not throwing down hammers on his snowboard, he can sometimes be found swinging one, displaying his carpentry skills. This little piece was put together by Forum Staff Photographer, Tim Peare, and shows Nic and some of the boys (pretty much just Nic) putting together a drop-in ramp for a recent urban trip.

With 2010 just a few hours away, it’s time to solidify some New Year’s Resolutions. Take a gander back at Forum’s Team Shootout Video. Remember, yesterday you learned that choices you make today will positively or negatively affect the environment tomorrow…

Rail and Backcountry sessions aren’t the only thing these guys are good at. At a recent little get-together, John J laid down some rhythm, while Nic picked up the lead in during this impromptu jam session. Bet you didn’t know Nic Sauve derived his talent from being a prodigy on the violin. John Jackson derived his from being a hippie…

Never to shy away from railing of any sort, Nic Sauve recently got some business taken care of outside of the bedroom streets, and welded together this little piece for some early season practicing. Nice work Nic. Droppin’ next!

Nic Sauve’s been chipping away the past few years and the boys at Snowboard Canada have taken notice. In the Fall 2009 issue, they’ve awarded Nic a 10 page interview and presented him with his second Snowboard Canada cover.

Nic Sauve noticed that a lot of his teammates were locking down double-corks this past season. In an attempt to catch up, he did a little practicing of his own on a trip to Bali this summer.

Forum Fridays comes to you as an extension of Forum’s most recent team-inspired snowboarding release, FOREVER. While the footage is admirable, it was dropped on the cutting room floor, but swept back up for your visual indulgence.

Prior to the release of Forum Snowboarding’s upcoming video offering, “Forever”, comes TEASING FOREVER…not so much a series of teasers, per se, but reflective insights on individual filming experiences from various members of the Forum Team.

This clip from TEASING FOREVER, features French Canadian, Nic Sauve, as he explains what it’s like having a job that he doesn’t really seem like work.

Some members of the Forum Team are posted up in North Lake Tahoe right now, filming at Squaw for Forum’s upcoming video release. See below for the frustrating behind the scenes photos that don’t reveal anything that’s really going on…and then stay in touch with the blog for even more.

Here’s another photo update from Forum Staff Photographer, Tim Peare. This little nugget includes some shots from a backcountry trip to the fine state of Montana.

On a recent urban trip, the crew didn’t have access to their drop in ramp, so they were forced to construct their own. This video highlights Nic Sauve’s skills as a carpenter and demonstrates his knowledge of The Pythagorean Theorem. Remember sitting in math class, questioning when you’d ever use this stuff in the real world?

With snow levels dropping in US cities, a portion of the team decided to cross the pond and settle in Norway for a bit. Staff Filmer/Editor, Jeremy Pettit, snapped these still shots in between all the non-still ones. Please feel free to enjoy the small, not-so-revealing Scandinavian nuggets below.

Nic Sauve passed on staying in Quebec City this summer, opting for a retreat to the exotic landscape of Thailand. Nic, along with his girlfriend (sorry ladies), spent five solid weeks exploring the beaches and jungles in search of vacation excitment.

With session number one (aka: Forum Week) kicking off at Camp of Champions, members of the Forum team were more than enthusiastic about taking a trip to Whistler and getting some snow under their feet. Aside from the usual dose of jibbing, jumping, bonking, spinning, sliding, and slashing, plenty of time was spent hanging out with campers and kicking it during various off-hill camp activities.

Forum Week will be hosted at Camp of Champions from June 21-28 in Whistler, BC. If you’re going to be there, squeeze in a lap with Jake Blauvelt, John Jackson, Nic Sauve, Daniel Ek, and/or Stevie Bell, as they’ll be there enjoying all the summer festivities.
