Here’s some (not-so) recent coverage from the September 08 issue of Slash Snowboarding. Highlights include spreads from Travis Kennedy and Nic Sauve, along with single page shots of Daniel Ek (mislabeled as Jake Blauvelt) and Kareen El Rafie.

Not sure what these are called in the high tech world of digital recording, but here are some printouts (that have been scanned, clipped, cropped, and positioned) from the Forum or Against’em rider intro shoots.

The night that Forum or Against’em was set to premiere in Sierra Snowboard, the 1000+ venue was, well, it was sold out by noon. That’s because the folks at Forum are such HUGE SELL OUTS!!!

Anyway, with such an anticipated turnout, John Jackson, Travis Kennedy, and Stevie Bell headed to Sacremento for the usual session of shaking hands and kissing babies (along with signing autographs, and throwing high-fives to the fans).

Travis Kennedy loves jamming his pole and banging, so here’s a “banger” screen shot from Forum or Against’em of Travis bringing pole-jamming to the next-ness.

In the previous Travis Kennedy post, you got an inside look as to what life is like for a professional snowboarder living in Lake Tahoe. When not in Lake Tahoe, the aforementioned Forum Team Rider sometimes likes to spend time vacationing in Hawaii with his girl friend doing all sorts of “touristy” things.

Some people tend to wonder what life is like for a professional snowboarder when they’re not snowboarding. If you happen to be a professional snowboarder that’s based out of Lake Tahoe (like Travis Kennedy), you’ll probably spend the off-season taking fishing trips with your girlfriend, cruising on your brand new wave running vehicle thingy, and/or getting new tattoos.

Glad to see you’ve been having a good time - it’s almost time to get back to work.

In case you’ve forgotten what members of the Forum team look like, the latest installment from Joni Malmi’s digicam should bring you up to speed. Enjoy some head shots of some of the guys that Joni travelled with while filming for Forum’s upcoming movie project Forum or Against’em.

After days behind the clouds, the sun finally made a cameo appearance in Mt. Hood. Daniel Ek, Peter Line, Travis Kennedy, and Pat Moore were more than happy to take full advantage of the opportunity, and get some work done for their respective video parts.

A few guys have been stationed in Mt. Hood, waiting out the weather in hopes of getting some late-spring park shots for the upcoming Forum or Against’em video. Since it’s been pouring almost nonstop since they’ve arrived, this is what’s been going on to keep everyone occupied.

Members of the Forum team took an early May trip to Summit at Snoqualmie, WA for miscellaneous video and photo shooting, and although these pictures are a little dated, check out how much snow was left up there.

Forum team filmer, Kurt Heine, put down the video camera to check-in with a few shots of the Forum Team. But don’t expect too much, as it’s just a set of posing and posing and posing some more. With that noted, here are the shots.
