A few things you legally must know. By signing up for The Contract Team, Forum is not responsible if you get hurt riding; you cannot blame Forum for any injury or death associated with riding for The Contract Team or The Contract board. Forum is not responsible for any legal issues you might encounter while riding in an urban environment. You acknowledge and understand that snowboarding is a hazardous activity involving risks of serious injury or death and agree to assume any and all risks of personal injury connected with the performance of any activity as a member of The Contract Team or while participating in The Contract Team Contest.
By becoming a member of The Contract Team, you are not an employee, contractor or professional or amateur snowboard team member or otherwise of Forum, but you can submit photos of you shredding The Contract snowboard. In fact, you aren’t actually a member of the Forum team at all because those guys are f----ing nuts. They’re the best riders in the world. Come on, this Contract Team is just for fun and by signing up neither you nor Forum agrees to be bound to perform any actions whatsoever. There is no monetary compensation associated with The Contract Team but we do reserve the right to use the images you submit to Forum at our discretion. We also reserve the right to kick you off the Team for lack of performance, so send in those pictures. If your images make the best monthly submission, you will win some cool stuff.
Contest begins at 12:00 AM EST July 15, 2010 and ends at 11:59 PM EDT on June 31, 2011.
Sponsored by FORUM SNOWBOARDS (“Forum”), located at 152 Industrial Parkway, Burlington, Vermont, U.S.A.

All entries must be received by 11:59 PM EDT of the last day of each month that the Contest is in effect from July 15th 2010 to June 31st 2011.
A review of all completed registration forms and photographs will begin on or about the completion of each month that the Contest is in effect. All submissions will be reviewed based on a combination of the following criteria: creativity/uniqueness; quality of execution, and applicability to contest theme. Winners will be notified by email. If a prize notification letter or a prize is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the runner-up winner from among all remaining eligible entries.
Forum will select one (1) winner per month for the twelve month duration of the Contest, and each winning photo submission will be featured on the Forum Snowboards website under The Contract page.
There is one (1) prize for each of the twelve (12) months that the Contest is in effect, consisting of some cool stuff to be announced prior to the start of each month. Approximate retail value of each prize will range from USD Twenty-Five and 00/100 Dollars ($25.00) to Two Hundred Fifty and 00/100 Dollars ($250.00).
Each winner will be solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes, license, fees or other costs. Forum is not responsible for delays in delivery of any prize. The winner shall bear all risk of loss to prize after it has been received. Forum is under no obligation to provide the winner with any other substitute prize. In the event a winner is or becomes ineligible, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the runner-up winner from among all remaining eligible entries.
Prizes are non-transferable; no substitutions, exchanges, or product redemptions. Each winner will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release within fourteen (14) days of notification or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
