For years people have wondered what the hell it is that makes Jackson tick. Video parts for days and obviously, balls of steel. A few years back he was all about gnarly rails, but now he is among the most psycho and consistent backcountry riders in the game. It’s called progression, yet people have begun to wonder, “Is this kid for real?” Here’s a theory: he’s part animal, part machine. John learned his chops in the steep and ragged Sierras, a place that teaches versatile skills. Maybe that is why he hikes like a billy goat and flies like a remote-control computerized action figure.
