BIO

Despite the red devil beard and the Slatanic pro model graphics, Pat is a very nice young man. Raised in the brutal wilds of New Hampshire, it’s no surprise he has an evil streak that’s a mile wide. Boilerplate ice and flat landings breed anger and severe standards of ability. Pat’s drive to snowboard better and push himself ever harder is what makes him seem so possessed by dark forces. When he’s out filming he can be a bit of a sadist, but it’s just because he knows what he wants and fights to get it right. He’s actually a happy hippy underneath the leather and spikes. Some people even call him Patty Cakes.

What are the skills and responsibilities of being a snowboarder?
What you do on your snowboard and then the responsibilities are using those skills to get coverage.

What makes you want to progress?
That’s just natural, you do something once and you want to do it better the next time.

How would you spend your ideal day?
Making pow turns with friends on a fun mountain.

What do you think is the most fun thing to do for yourself?
Traveling for fun.

What would you list as a career highlight?
Probably winning rookie of the year for Snowboarder Magazine, or getting Superpark standout. Those were pretty awesome.

Where there any notable trips in filming for Forum or Against’em?
There were some good ones for sure; I had a lot of fun with Eddie and Jake at the beginning of the year in Montreal.

In what kind of snowboard environment are you most comfortable?
When I’m out cruising with my friends.

If you weren’t snowboarding, you would be?
In College with one year to go.

What, if anything, is too serious to be joked about?

What was the last thing you regret buying?
A few pair of jeans while I was in Dubai.

Where do you see yourself when you are 55 years old?
Having a hard time walking.
